Familiar face to become principal at Woodland Middle School next year
Woodland Middle School Assistant Principal Tiffany Drake, who has been at the school for nearly 19 years, will be promoted to the top job in the fall.
Drake will become the school's principal for the 2019-20 school year, following in the footsteps of her mentor, Principal Scott Snyder, according to Woodland School District 50.
"Being named principal of Woodland Middle School is a true honor and I am grateful to continue to serve the students, staff and families of District 50," Drake said. "I am ready to get to work with help from the staff, administrative team and parents to help our students take pride in who they are and what they can achieve."
She started at Woodland Middle School in 2000 as a sixth-grade social studies teacher before becoming assistant principal in 2005.
