Barrington Family Expo returns Sunday

Fun hands-on art activities, giveaways and local youth entertainment will be part of the Barrington Family Expo on Sunday, April 7.

Set from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Barrington High School's main gymnasium, the event also will offer food, refreshments and about 90 booths showcasing business and community resources. Attendees will have a chance to enter a contest to win a Barrington-area shopping spree.

Admission and parking to the Family Expo is free. Visitors should use entrance 34 on the Hart Road side of the school for the main gym and natatorium. The expo is co-hosted by the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and the Barrington High School Fine Arts Department.

"This is a community event dedicated to connecting local families with the first-rate programs and resources available in the Barrington region," said chamber President/CEO Suzanne Corr.
