Meet new Grayslake library director

The Grayslake Area Public Library District and its board of trustees invite the community to a meet-and-greet with new Library Director Sara Brown on Tuesday, April 9, 5 to 7 p.m., at the library, 100 Library Lane, Grayslake. The event is part of National Library Week, April 7-13, and is also an opportunity to explore the new Library of Things collection. Telescopes, Memory Kits, Tinker Kits, board games, and puzzles are some of the new "things" you can check out and enjoy at home. "Libraries = Strong Communities" is the theme for this year's National Library Week celebration. For more information about National Library Week, visit ala.org/nlw. Refreshments and giveaways will be provided.
