2 newcomers, 2 incumbents elected Sleepy Hollow trustees

Two newcomers and two incumbents were elected to trustee seats on the Sleepy Hollow Village Board, according to unofficial election results.

With all precincts reporting, Steven DeAtley and Anthony C. Piraino finished first and second in a four-person field Tuesday night with 325 and 300 votes, respectively, in the race for three 4-year terms. Joseph C. Nemec was re-elected to another term as village trustee with 288 votes.

Caesar Schiavone finished fourth with 200 votes.

Trustees Scott Finney and Dennis Fudala did not seek re-election.

Incumbent Dennis J. Ziemba ran unopposed for an unexpired 2-year trustee term that runs through April 2021.
