Antioch man pleads guilty to sex with Wisconsin teens

A 36-year-old Antioch man pleaded guilty to two counts of enticing two 15-year-old girls into sexual relationships.

Federal prosecutors announced the plea by Casey Ireland Monday. He could be sentenced to life in prison at his June 24 hearing, though prosecutors are recommending between 11 and 14 years. He would be on a national and statewide sex offender registry for life, as well.

According to court records, Ireland began texting one 15-year-old girl in mid-May 2017. He drove to her house and school in Wisconsin, and drove her back to his home in Antioch, where they had sex. Investigators uncovered hundreds of sexually explicit texts between the two.

Later that month, Ireland began another text relationship with a second 15-year-old Wisconsin girl. He picked her up at a park near her home and drove her back to his house where they had sex, according to court records. After that encounter, the girl informed authorities of her relationship with Ireland. Investigators took control of the girl's phone in early June, posed as the girl and arranged for Ireland to pick the girl up at the park again. When he arrived June 7, he was arrested.
