Genealogy meeting at Schaumburg library:

The constantly changing face of British Isles research will be the topic of the Genealogy Group from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in the Adult Classroom of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Professional genealogist Paul Milner will share information about recently released original records, new indexes, books, CD-ROMS and websites. No registration is required for this free event.

The doors will open at 7 p.m. for anyone who wants to network with others and review materials. Tony Kierna, the library's genealogist, will welcome the group and provide a brief overview of handouts and upcoming events before the speaker begins at 7:45 p.m.
