Issue questions

What are the most important issues facing your community and how do you intend to address them? ,

I am excited about the projects along the river that will give people a destination to gather at as a community. I would be interested in promoting a larger grocery store to accommodate the residents on the East side of the river. With the development of the golf course adding rooftops to the equation it could be justified.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

I truly enjoyed serving the community as a spokesperson for the constituents.

I miss serving and feel that growing up in the area and serving on the Batavia Council gave me the experience and knowledge I would need to be successful in this position.

Describe your leadership style and explain how you think that will be effective in producing actions and decisions with your village board or city council.

I have experience with Roberts Rules, budgets, project management. I was a large part of the many projects and changes involving Batavia.

How would you describe the condition of your community's budget, and what are the most important specific actions the town should take to assure providing the level of services people want? ,

I do not feel I have complete knowledge of everything to know what the most specific topics are. Once one becomes a trustee they would have more access to information.

What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?

I would be interested in promoting a larger grocery store to accommodate the residents on the East side of the river.
