Hazardous waste collection event in Antioch
The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County will host the first mobile Household Chemical Waste Collection event of the season from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Antioch public works department, 796 Holbek Drive.
Participants can bring household cleaners, fluorescent light bulbs and other household chemical waste products to be recycled.
SWALCO also offers year-round collections by appointment only at its Gurnee facility. Visit www.swalco.org for details about events and accepted items.
