'Women of Song' at Schaumburg Library March 29
The Mike Dangeroux Band will illustrate the important roles of women in music during "Women of Song" from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 29, in the Program Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
No registration is required for this free program. Attendees must pick up their tickets in kidsZone 30 minutes before the program.
During this high-energy performance, the band will feature artists including Etta James, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Martha and the Vandellas, Alicia Keys, The Supremes and Taylor Swift. Music and history will combine as the band brings to life the powerful women who moved music and the American culture forward.
