What are the most important issues facing your community and how do you intend to address them?

Budget! Meeting the needs of the residents while staying fiscally responsible and while keeping the unique atmosphere of Sleepy Hollow.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

I have been a resident of Sleepy Hollow since 1988 (and my wife since 1977). I served as a Trustee from 1997 to 2001 and again since 2011. My long term experiences in the village as a resident and a Trustee is what I can continue to bring to the board.

Describe your leadership style and explain how you think that will be effective in producing actions and decisions with your village board.

I try to get as much information as possible from residents, experts, and trusted resources and bring this information to help shape our decisions.

How would you describe the condition of your community's budget, and what are the most important specific actions the town should take to assure providing the level of services people want?

The Village has had several referendums in the past, most failed. President Pickett has done an excellent job of informing the residents what they get for their money. The voters have decided what level of funding they wish to pay for Village services and the board should provide the best and most efficient services with those resources.

What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?

Digitizing, we can save money and become more effective to the residents of the Village.
