Issue questions

What are the most important issues facing your community and how do you intend to address them?

Infrastructure: Water mains, storm/sanitary sewers, sewer separation, overland drainage and economic development.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

With over 37 years municipal government experience I will bring not only public works background knowledge, but also supervisory skills , management skills and a understanding of municipal budgets and economic growth.

Describe your leadership style and explain how you think that will be effective in producing actions and decisions with your village board or city council.

I consider myself a visionary type leader. I see what needs to be done, but am a firm believer in teamwork and will listen to input from others.

How would you describe the condition of your community's budget, and what are the most important specific actions the town should take to assure providing the level of services people want?

The Village Of Villa Park's budget is an outstanding example of a properly managed community. This is noted as Villa Park has been awarded the GFOA Distinguished Budget Award for the 25th consecutive year. As trustee, I will continue to meet the financial needs of the community to maintain this level of professionalism.

What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?

One of my main goals is to help develop economic growth. Bringing in new businesses brings in revenue, which helps Villa Park grow in other areas of the community.

I am proud to represent Villa Park and want to be part of its continued growth.
