Issue questions

What are the most important issues facing your park district and how do you intend to address them?

If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for the park board? If you're an incumbent, list your accomplishments or key initiatives in which you played a leadership role.

When we moved to Glen Ellyn, we knew no one here and very little about the village itself. It didn't take long for us to realize what a wonderful community we had chosen. Only a few months after our arrival we enrolled our oldest daughter in the GE Park District t-ball league. Through that team and interactions with other teams, we met families who are still our close friends. Glen Ellyn has an amazing sense of community. The Park District is a foundation that creates an opportunity for all of us to be an active part of this community through all stages of life. It is my desire to contribute to my neighbors and fellow citizens of Glen Ellyn by serving them through the Glen Ellyn Park District Board of Commissioners

Which programs aren't paying for themselves? Would you keep, eliminate or change them? How and why?

Is there any additional open space the park district needs to acquire? Please describe.

Are there any unmet recreational needs? If yes, what are they and how would you propose paying for them?
