Young Libertyville artists put their work on display

Libertyville Elementary School District 70 showed off its talented young artists Thursday with an opening reception of its sixth annual "arteffects" show at the Cook Park Library in Libertyville.

The exhibit features artwork by students from kindergarten through eighth grade at all five district schools. The Strolling Strings and Show Choir from Highland Middle School performed during the opening event.

The artwork will be on display in the library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., through Friday, April 5.
