Police, fire battle Arlington Hts. chili cook-off
A Battle of the Badges Chili Cook-off is scheduled to take place Sunday, at Rack House Kitchen and Tavern in Arlington Heights.
Members of the Arlington Heights police and fire departments and Hoffman Estates Police Department will face off to see who makes the best chili. Sampling and voting will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at the restaurant, 222 E. Algonquin Road.
Tickets at the door are $15 for adults and $7 for kids, or beforehand at the restaurant, $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
