District 21 confirms dates for 8th grade promotion ceremonies
Wheeling Township Elementary District 21 has confirmed the originally-scheduled promotion dates for 8th graders.
The ceremony for Holmes Middle School students will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Wheeling High School; for London Middle School students, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Wheeling High School; and for Cooper Middle School students, at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Buffalo Grove High School.
While the promotion dates are confirmed, the last day of school has not yet been set. District officials say the current year school calendar is still tentative until April when they can account for any snow/emergency days and adjust the final end date accordingly. The school board will vote on a final calendar April 25.
