Forecast Lake County Luncheon 2019 set for Jan. 17

The Lake County Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon titled "Forecast Lake County Luncheon 2019" on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the White Deer Run Golf Club at 250 W. Greggs Parkway in Vernon Hills.

The luncheon will focus on the forecast for the economy in 2019. The lunch will provide Lake County's business and government leaders a chance to examine the economic issues, challenges and opportunities in 2019. William Strauss, senior economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Economic Advisor, will present his forecast, with an economic assessment of the US and Midwest economy for 2019. Opening remarks will be handled by Vernon Hills Mayor Roger Byrne.

The cost of the luncheon is $45 for members and $65 for nonmembers. To preregister, call the chamber at (847) 249-3800, or register online at lakecountychamber.com.
