Police searching for 76-year-old Plano man last seen in Aurora

Aurora police are soliciting the public's help to find a 74-year-old man who went missing at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Juan Garcia was last seen leaving the home of a family member who lives on the 1500 block of Bridle Post Drive on Aurora's west side. According to a release issued by the state's Law Enforcement Alerting Platform, Garcia's license plate on his 2016 gray Dodge Caravan is ZX87243.

Garcia's last known whereabouts were at a local pharmacy where he picked up a prescription.He hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Garcia's family said he is a Plano resident but was visiting family in Aurora. According to the family, Garcia has a history of getting lost while driving and will refuse to stop and ask for directions.

Garcia is around 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 215 lbs. He has gray hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a long brown winter coat and blue jeans.
