Nobody hurt in Libertyville house fire
No injuries were reported after a house fire Saturday afternoon in Libertyville, officials said.
Fire crews responded to a call on the 1200 block of Trinity Place around 4:39 p.m., according to Assistant Fire Chief Brian Conner. The fire, which started in the chimney, was extinguished around 5:37 p.m., and the homeowners and their pet dog were able to get out safely, Conner said.
Conner said he estimated the fire caused about $50,000 in damages.
