Two charged with stealing iPads and iPhones

Bail was set at $75,000 for a Harvey man and an unnamed juvenile was ordered detained Thursday after they were charged with stealing iPhones and iPads from a Bensenville T-Mobile store and an Elmhurst Sprint store, according to a news release from the DuPage County state's attorney's office.

Shiayon Andrews, of the 200 block of West 155th Place, the juvenile and two other unidentified men entered the Bensenville store at 11:51 a.m. Dec. 3, stole multiple devices and left, according to the release.

The 18-year-old Andrews and the three others arrived at the Elmhurst store 10 minutes later and did the same thing, the release said.

The investigation and the search for the two other suspects continues. Andrews' next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 2, and the juvenile's next court date is Dec. 10.
