Schaumburg library hosting public transportation program

The Schaumburg Township District Library will host a winter edition of its "Using Public Transportation" program from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

The program is intended to help everyone from first-time and infrequent riders, to a seniors, students and with disabilities to easily utilize services on the Metra, Chicago Transit Authority and Pace Suburban Bus. Those who attend also will learn about the services available in Schaumburg Township.

Agencies that will be represented include the RTA, villages of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park, Schaumburg Township and Pace.
