Rolling Meadows offering holiday lights recycling
Rolling Meadows, the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County and Elgin Recycling are partnering to offer residents a recycling program specifically for holiday string lighting and extension cords.
Items can be dropped off now through Feb. 15 in a drop-off box located outside city hall, 3600 Kirchoff Road.
Garland, live greens, wreaths or other nonrecyclables are not accepted in this program.
