Gurnee hosting volunteer fair Dec. 18

The village of Gurnee will host a volunteer fair from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at village hall, 325 N. O'Plaine Road.

The volunteer fair will be an opportunity for nonprofit organizations, volunteer groups and clubs serving Lake County to match with potential volunteers. More than 15 organizations are expected to attend. They represent a wide variety of causes and social services in the Gurnee community.

There is no registration required to attend the event. Interested volunteers are encouraged to attend and learn more about organizations serving Lake County, with no obligation to join. The fair is open to all ages.
