Woodland School District 50 to host holiday food drive

Woodland School District 50 is hosting a holiday food drive through December 10 to help local children and families in need. In addition to nonperishable foods, the district is accepting donations of new hats and mittens as well as new or gently used books. Other items the district is accepting include personal care items such as shampoo, soap, deodorant and dental care products as well as home cleaning supplies like dish soap and laundry detergent. Parents may send donated items to school with their child, or donations may be dropped off at the Woodland Educational Support Center at 1105 N. Hunt Club Road.
