Report: Manufacturing drives economy in Lake County

More than one in seven jobs in Lake County are in the manufacturing industry, according to a new report from Lake County Partners, the county's economic development arm. Manufacturing accounted for a total of 51,086 jobs in Lake County in 2017 representing more people than any other private sector industry, according the report. The jobs offer competitive salaries, benefits and opportunities to advance, and Lake County Partners is teaming with the College of Lake County and Lake County Workforce to support the companies and develop talent.
