Mundelein High School hosting Thanksgiving Day charity run
Mundelein High School will hold a charity 5K run and a 1-mile run for kids on Thanksgiving Day.
Proceeds from the event dubbed Miles for Mustangs will benefit the high school's cross country and track teams.
The 5K will start at 9 a.m. Nov. 22, with the 1-mile run for kids 10 or younger beginning at 9:30 a.m. The participation fee is $25 for the longer run if paid in advance or $30 on race day. The shorter run requires a $10 entry fee. Anyone who registers before a Nov. 19 deadline gets a T-shirt.
