Mundelein High salutes veterans
A drum line escorted military veterans into Mundelein High School's main gym for the annual Veterans Day event Friday.
The ceremony featured an Illinois Army National Guard color guard, Mundelein High School alumni guest speaker Air Force Brigadier General James Swanson and students holding thank-you signs.
After the ceremony, the veterans were honored at a brunch in the nearby Mundelein High School District 120 administrative office building.
