Gurnee bank robber sought

Authorities are seeking help in identifying the person who robbed a bank in Gurnee.

Police said a robbery was reported at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday at the Gurnee Community Bank, 675 N. O'Plaine Road. No weapons were displayed and no injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a black man, possibly a teenager, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a slender build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, visible blue shirt under the jacket, black face mask, black pants, black gloves, dark shoes. He was wearing a black backpack.

The offender fled the bank on a bicycle and was last seen in the area of Old Grand Avenue and Depot Road.
