Turn in unwanted medication Saturday
Stevenson High School's Catalyst club and the Stand Strong Coalition invite people to participate in the annual National Take Back Day on Saturday by turning in unwanted medication.
People can turn in medication for safe disposal between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at three locations: the Buffalo Grove Police Department, 46 Raupp Blvd.; the Long Grove Fire Protection District station at 1165 Old McHenry Road; and the Mariano's grocery store at 1350 E. Route 22 in Lake Zurich.
The first 20 participants at each location will receive a free prescription drug lockbox. For more information, visit dea.gov.
