Police: Employee at Huntley cellphone store sent customer's nude photos to himself

A 23-year-old Huntley cellphone store employee has been accused of sending nude pictures from a customer's phone to his phone without her consent.

Justin D. Devine, of the 6N500 block of Juniper Court near St. Charles, is charged with one felony count of nonconsensual dissemination of a sex image, a crime with a punishment ranging from probation to up to three years in prison, according to prosecutors and Kane County court records.

According to prosecutors and court records, Devine intentionally shared five images of the victim's exposed genitals without her consent.

The victim, prosecutors said in a news release, told Huntley police she went to the Verizon store on the 12000 block of Route 47 in Huntley and gave her phone to Devine, an employee there, for assistance. While Devine had the woman's phone, he sent five sexual images that were on her phone to his phone, according to prosecutors.

The woman, who lives in Dixon, confronted Devine about it. After he denied it, she went to Huntley police, prosecutors said.

A warrant was issued Tuesday. Devine surrendered to Huntley police on Wednesday, posted $1,500 bond and was released, prosecutors said.

He is next due in court Nov. 27.
