Arrest made in Zion shooting

The Lake County seriff's office warrants team, in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Service - Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, apprehended Rahsaan R. Carr, 42, of the 1500 block of Park Avenue, North Chicago.

Carr, a documented street gang member, had a felony warrant for aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and aggravated battery, the sheriff's office said in a news release Wednesday. The warrant stems from a June 23 party in Zion, when Carr shot someone, authorities said. Carr was arrested Tuesday and taken to Lake County jail, where he is being held on $2 million bail. His next court day is Oct. 18
