Pita Pita opens in Rolling Meadows
Pita Pita Mediterranean Grill opened its new location in Rolling Meadows Thursday.
The Middle Eastern fast casual dining franchise, located in a strip mall space at 1219 W. Golf Road, joins other suburban locations in Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Lombard and Orland Park.
A formal grand opening with members of the Rolling Meadows Chamber of Commerce is scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday, with a ribbon cutting at 4:15 p.m.
The location formerly housed Pie Five Pizza Co., which closed in December 2016 just three months after opening. The franchisee had sued the pizza chain for fraud and breach of contract.
