Candidate forum Sunday in Deerfield
Candidates in two suburban congressional races will appear at a political forum Sunday in Deerfield. The event is set for 2 p.m. at Congregation BJBE, 1201 Lake Cook Road. The event will feature the candidates for the 10th Congressional District race, Rep. Brad Schneider and Doug Bennett, as well as the candidates for the 9th District race, Rep. Jan Schakowsky and John Ellison. Candidates for some state House and state Senate races will appear as well. The forum is sponsored by a consortium of North Shore synagogues, Jewish day schools and Jewish community organizations.
