Knitters and crocheters welcome at Ela Community Center gathering
Want to contribute to local charities and make friends? Ela Township Community Family Services welcomes knitters and crocheters to its weekly gatherings from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ela Community Center, 380 Surryse Road, Lake Zurich. The group has been meeting for over 10 years and has made and donated 10,000 items to different charities. Those who don't know how to knit or crochet but want to learn will be taught.
