7th ROAR Run in Gurnee sponsored by the Woodland PTA

The 7th ROAR Run Friday afternoon in Gurnee included a 5K and a 1-mile run/walk, along with refreshments, entertainment and an appearance by a former Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers player.

The event, sponsored by the Woodland PTA, started with old-school relay events in the Middle School gym for Woodland teachers, administrators and staff. Employees teamed up for friendly competitions such as a three-legged race and a potato sack race. Prizes were handed out for top finishers of the races.
