Libertyville set to hire new finance chief

Libertyville is set to appoint a new finance director. Nicholas "Nick" Mostardo, assistant finance director for the village of Winnetka, has been named the selection to replace Patrice Sutton, who left in June for a job as director of finance and administrative service for Lake County. Libertyville contracted with GovTemps USA LLC for a part-time, temporary finance director. Mostardo has worked in Winnetka the past five years. Before that, he served as aquatics facility manager for the Bartlett Park District. The village board will finalize the appointment Tuesday, and Mostardo will start Oct. 15.
