District 15 wants feedback for superintendent search

Palatine Township Elementary District 15 is soliciting input through an online survey and a public forum as its continues its search for its next superintendent.

Search firm BWP & Associates is leading the school board in the process to replace Superintendent Scott Thompson as he approaches retirement June 30, 2019. BWP has released a survey available at ccsd15.net, open for all District 15 residents through Sept. 26.

Along with the survey, there will be a stakeholder input meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Winston Campus Junior High School, 120 N. Babcock Drive in Palatine.

Thompson's replacement likely will be announced in December, officials said.

"The selection of the next superintendent of schools is one the board of education is deeply invested in. We value the public's feedback on this topic and hope to have a large response to the survey and public input session," District 15 board President Lisa Szczupaj said.
