A massive blaze tore through a Prospect Heights apartment complex Wednesday afternoon, injuring at least three, leaving dozens homeless and keeping about 150 firefighters from across the suburbs busy for hours.

  Marco Tenorio, 57, was laying on his couch when he heard neighbor children screaming "Fire!" He was able to put on his prosthetic leg and get out of the building where the fire started. He said he thinks he will try to find a hotel room for a few days. John Starks/jstarks@dailyherald.com
