Rolling Meadows hosts 4th annual Downtown Block Party Friday

Rolling Meadows will host its 4th annual Downtown Block Party Friday along Kirchoff Road between Meadow Drive and Oriole Lane.

The event, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., will feature food trucks, vendors, a car show, a display of law enforcement vehicles, face painting and a bounce house. The Billy Elton band, featuring the music of Billy Joel and Elton John, will perform.

Kirchoff Road will be closed from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the fest.
