Man suffers serious injuries in Antioch Township motorcycle crash

Antioch Township crash:

A 51-year-old Zion man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash Monday night in the 43000 block of North Trevor Road in Antioch Township, Lake County sheriff's officials said in a news release Tuesday. The preliminary investigation shows the Zion man was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on North Trevor Road at 7:37 p.m. when the motorcycle left the roadway for an unknown reason went into a wooded area. The driver was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to St. Catherine's Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, with serious injuries, authorities said. The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff's Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
