Chrissis resigns from District 25 board
Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 Board Member Diana Chrissis resigned this week, citing her inability to continue meeting the position's time commitments with the amount of travel her job requires.
Chrissis was first elected to the board in 2007 and was in the final year of her third term.
The school board will discuss the process for appointing a new member at its May 24 board meeting. An application to serve in Chrissis' spot will become available after that meeting.
The appointed board member will serve the remainder of Chrissis' term, until the spring 2019 election.
More information, including an application, will be posted on the District 25 website at sd25.org/BoardofEducation as it becomes available.
