Herbs, veggies, flowers focus of CLC's annual spring plant sale

Hanging baskets, herbs, vegetables, annuals, perennials and native plants were the stars of College of Lake County's 2018 annual spring plant sale.

The sale, which began Thursday morning, continues from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 11, in the greenhouses on the east side of the Grayslake campus in buildings H100-H101. Master gardeners, volunteers, CLC staff and students are operating the two-day event.

Money made from the annual sale supports CLC's horticulture program by funding student internships, scholarships and participation in local conferences.
