Aurora police ask for help identifying shooting suspect

Police in Aurora are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect in a Wednesday afternoon shooting.

Someone shot at a Naperville man about 1:30 p.m. while he was driving in the 600 block of Conservatory Lane in Aurora. A bullet grazed the man's head and another occupant of the car drove him to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries that are not life-threatening, authorities said.

Police said they have no description of the suspect, who was driving a dark-colored sedan. Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at (630) 256-5500 or Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at (630) 892-1000.
