'Radium Girls' begins three-day run at Vernon Hills High

Vernon Hills High School will stage the play "Radium Girls" at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at the school, 145 Lakeview Parkway.

The show is about the women who painted luminous watches for the U.S. Radium Corporation in the 1920s and then began to fall ill with a mysterious disease.

Tickets are $4 for students or $5 for adults and available at seatyourself.biz/vhhscougars and at the door.
