Free tax return help

Volunteer tax preparers from AARP will be available by appointment at the Fremont Public Library, 1170 N. Midlothian Road in Mundelein, to assist community members with their tax returns. The service is free and available to anyone but is specifically designed for people over 50. AARP will prepare and file the return with the IRS and the state. Appointments are required. Please book in person at the reference or readers services desk or call (847) 918-3206. Appointments are available on Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings through April 13.
