How to submit pictures of fallen Vietnam service members

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund needs nearly 4,000 more pictures to complete a digital database of images for every man and woman listed on the granite memorial in Washington, D.C.

Volunteers, teachers, politicians and surviving relatives all have helped build the "Wall of Faces," an online collection of pictures of the fallen in Vietnam.

Digital copies of pictures can be uploaded to a service member's individual profile page by searching for their name at Vvmf.org/wall-of-faces.

Copies also can be mailed to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, Attn: The Wall of Faces, 1235 South Clark St., Suite 910, Arlington, VA 22202.

Ideally, those sending photos by mail should reproduce the images with a glossy finish and an 8x10 size. A photo submission form, available at Vvmf.org/how-to-submit, also should be mailed with the photos.

For details, call (202) 393-0090 or email vvmf@vvmf.org.
