Hanover Township wins four statewide awards

Hanover Township received four awards at the annual Township Officials of Illinois conference in Springfield on Nov. 14.

The Illinois Township Association of Senior Citizen Services Committees presented Hanover with the Township of the Year Award and Township Supervisor Brian McGuire with the Supervisor of the Year Award.

John Parquette, Director of Hanover Township Youth & Family Services was presented with the Director of the Year Award by the Association of Illinois Township Committees on Youth while Ryan Dickinson, Clinical Interventionist, was presented with the Staff of Year Award.

The Township Officials of Illinois Educational Conference occurs annually in Springfield where over 1,000 Township officials and staff gather to attend seminars and trainings.
