University of Chicago honors Barrington High School teachers

Four Barrington High School teachers have received the Outstanding Educator Award from the University of Chicago.

Barrington Area Unit District 220 Superintendent Brian Harris this week announced English teachers Rob Baker and Alan Sanders, English and social studies instructor Heidi Rockwell and math teacher Matt Medansky received the recognition.

The award recipients are selected by the university, which receives letters from hundreds of admitted students who share the names of teachers who have inspired them.
