Arlington Heights Halloween traffic crackdown results

Arlington Heights Police recently participated in a roadside safety check as part of the state's Halloween Enforcement Campaign.

Enforcement activities resulted in two drug-related arrests, one unlicensed driving arrest, two uninsured motorist citations, two seat belt citations, one child car seat citation, 11 registration-related violations, six equipment violations and 20 other miscellaneous traffic violations.

Arlington Heights police will be participating in the upcoming state grant funded Thanksgiving programs, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" and "Click It or Ticket."
