Walsh named Lake Zurich Middle School South's next principal

Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 announced that John Walsh, who currently serves as assistant principal at Middle School South, will be the school's principal next year.

Walsh, the assistant principal since 2009, will replace David Gardner, who is retiring at the end of the school year.

Superintendent Kaine Osburn said feedback from staff, parents, and students, as well as Walsh's experience and love of Middle School South, make him ideally suited for the job.

"I can think of no one better to lead MSS through this period in its history than John Walsh," Osburn said.
