Learn to appeal taxes at Maine Township seminar
Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will hold a property tax assessment and appeal seminar for Maine Township residents seeking to appeal their 2017 property tax assessments.
The seminar is 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Maine Township offices at 1700 Ballard Road in Park Ridge.
Maine Township is open for appeal through Oct. 24.
The session will educate taxpayers on how to file a successful tax appeal. It includes a presentation by Commissioner Dan Patlak explaining the appeal procedure at the board of review. Taxpayers will have an opportunity to address specific questions and concerns.
Taxpayers are asked to bring a copy of their most recent tax bill.
